We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.

paradoxes

Is it possible for people to care about someone without ever meeting them? To think about them all day, what they might be doing, if they ever think about you too? We never even really talked, so I developed my own idea of you but I have no idea how your voice sounds like, how tall you are and how your hugs are. What your house looks like, how you smoke your cigarettes or how you even lit them. I don’t even know where you’re from and still I care about you like no one else..

Run, run, run away.. buy yourself another day while a cold wind’s whispering secrets in your ear, so low only you can hear. Run, run, run and hide somewhere no one else can find tall trees bend and lean pointing where to go. Where you will still be all alone but don’t you fret, my dear, it’ll all be over soon, I’ll be waiting here for you. Run fast as you can, no one has to understand, fly high across the sky from here to kingdom come and fall back down to where you’re from. I don’t have a choice but I’d still choose you.

You only know what I want you to, I know everything you don’t want me to. I wish you’d hold me when I turn my back because the less I give the more I get back.
